Opera diva Jessye Norman, Miramax films Mirium Weinsten, Ethel Kennedy’s sister, Georgiana Terrien and the Cooneys of Screen Gems, and heiress Debbie Simon have enhanced their homes with murals and custom designs created by Kathleen Deyo who is a real fuss pot for detail. Lots of laughs ensued and repeat assignments along the way. On the commercial front, Kathleen works in restaurants and has murals in Rockefeller Center and on Madison Avenue.. She also sells paintings to a growing clientele.
Recently the ceramic tile murals are taking off as well as the hand painted silk for designers, men’s pocket squares and custom work for clients.
